The bedding materials can be made of many different fabrics, or a mixed of fibers. Bedsheets can be made of cotton, linen, silk and polyester, which is mixed with other fabrics, even lycra is usually mixed with cotton. They can also make nice bed spreads and comforters.
Flannel make great lightweight blankets and bed throws. Wools make heavy and warm blankets, they are also used as yarn to produce knitted, crochet or weaven blankets and throws. Down feathers can fill comforters, bedspreads, and pillows - they are great insulators.
