Room Atmosphere

This means you need to decide if you want it to be bright and colorful or subdued and neutral. The colors that are going to set the tone of the room are very important to the atmosphere you want to achieve. Colors such soft blues, greens, and creams are relaxing colors while reds, oranges, and bright yellows are stimulating colors.

Don’t forget to consider the patterns of the decorations that you are going to use. For example: Soft swirls versus bold stripes. The softer pattern may be more soothing while the bold stripes are more interesting for the baby’s developing eye. Remember though, it is all a personal preference, it all depends on what you like best, there isn’t a right or wrong choice. Bright colors versus subdued colors, soft patterns versus bold patterns: none of them won’t make your baby sleep better than the other, but keep in mind that some colors are more suitable to calmness while others to agitation.
